Description

Motul SPECIFIC 0720 5W-30 is a fully synthetic Specific-line oil, built around a car maker's standard. It is intended for Renault Group diesels (Renault, Dacia, Samsung) with a particulate filter that require Renault RN0720.

The oil is rated ACEA C4, a low-SAPS category, and holds official Renault RN0720 approval. It also meets the requirements of MB 226.51 and Fiat 9.55535-S4 without official approval. For the 2.2 dCi with a particulate filter, Motul recommends another oil with a separate Renault approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 11.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 172, HTHS 3.6 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, base number 6 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.49 %. Available in 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Renault Group cars (Renault, Dacia, Samsung) with diesel engines fitted with a particulate filter, for which the manufacturer requires Renault RN0720.
