Description
Liqui Moly Special Tec T3800 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic year-round oil for petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles, both naturally aspirated and turbocharged. It combines a passenger-car class with heavy-duty diesel classes.
The oil carries ACEA E7/E9 and API CK-4/SP. It holds no carmaker approvals, and the manufacturer gives no recommendations for specific makes.
Typical figures: 14.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 150, HTHS at least 3.7 mPa·s, sulphated ash 0.9 %, NOACK 13.0 %, pour point -39 °C. Pack sizes from 1 to 205 litres, including 3.5 and 4 litre cans.
Application
Petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, where an oil combining the API SP passenger-car class with the ACEA E7/E9 and API CK-4 diesel classes is suitable.
