Description

Castrol TRANSMAX ATF Dexron-VI Mercon LV Multivehicle is a fully synthetic low-viscosity TRANSMAX fluid for car automatic gearboxes, Asian and multi-speed European units included.

It holds official GM Dexron VI and Ford MERCON LV approvals and is rated JASO 1A and 1A LV. Without formal approval, it meets many requirements, including Aisin Warner JWS 3309, Toyota WS, Toyota T-IV, Hyundai/Kia SP-IV, Honda ATF DW-1, ZF Lifeguardfluid 6, ZF Lifeguardfluid 8, MB 236.14, VW G 055 540, Ford MERCON SP and Chrysler ATF+4.

Typical figures: 6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 161, pour point -54 °C, flash point 218 °C.

Where the car maker permits, it replaces GM Dexron II and GM Dexron III.

Application

Car automatic gearboxes that require a GM Dexron VI or Ford MERCON LV fluid, most Asian automatics and many six-, eight- and nine-speed automatic gearboxes in European cars.
