Description

Castrol TRANSMAX Manual Multivehicle 75W-90 is a fully synthetic gear oil from the TRANSMAX line for manual gearboxes in cars. It is designed to make gear changes easier while the gearbox is still cold, and according to the oil maker some car manufacturers use it as a factory fill.

The oil is rated API GL-4 and holds the official MB 235.72 approval. It meets the requirements of Ford WSD-M2C200-C and PSA B71 2330 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 15.09 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 226, pour point -54 °C, flash point 190 °C.

Application

Manual gearboxes in most cars for which the manufacturer specifies a 75W-90 gear oil to API GL-4.
