Description

Shell Spirax S6 ATF X is a low-viscosity multi-vehicle fluid for conventional automatic gearboxes in cars and light trucks.

It holds official GM Dexron VI and Ford MERCON LV licences and is rated JASO 1A LV. Without formal approval, it also meets Toyota T-IV, Toyota WS, Honda ATF DW-1, Honda ATF Z-1, Mitsubishi ATF MA-1, Mitsubishi/Hyundai/Kia SP-II/SP-III/SP-IV/SP-IV M/SP-IV RR, Nissan Matic C/D/J/K/S, Aisin Warner JWS 3309, Aisin Warner JWS 3324, BMW ATF 2, MB 236.1-236.10, Allison C-4 and Volvo CE 97340.

Typical figures: 6.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -54 °C, flash point 190 °C.

Not for CVTs, dual-clutch gearboxes, Type F fluids or newer Mercedes-Benz specifications.

Application

Conventional automatic gearboxes in Asian, European and North American cars and light trucks where the manufacturer requires DEXRON-VI, MERCON LV, Toyota WS or similar fluids.
