Description

Elf Evolution Full-Tech R 5W-30 is a synthetic oil developed for modern Renault and Dacia petrol and diesel engines that require the RN17 standard. It is compatible with DPF and GPF particulate filters, SCR systems and NOx traps.

The oil is rated ACEA C2 and C3 and holds official Renault RN17 and MB 226.52 approvals.

The data sheet gives a viscosity of 12.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, a viscosity index of 163 and a base number of 9.7 mg KOH/g. In the M111 FE engine test the manufacturer quotes a fuel saving of 2.91 %. Low volatility is meant to keep oil consumption down. Available in 1 and 5 litre packs.

Application

Modern Renault and Dacia petrol and diesel engines for which the manufacturer specifies RN17, including those with DPF and GPF particulate filters, SCR or a NOx trap.
