Description

Elf Evolution Full-Tech DTX 5W-30 is a synthetic oil from the Evolution Full-Tech range with reduced sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (low SAPS). It is designed for modern turbocharged direct-injection engines fitted with a particulate filter or catalytic converter.

The oil is rated ACEA C2 and C3 and API SN and CF, and holds the official MB 229.52 approval. It meets the requirements of Opel OV0401547-D30 without formal approval.

Typical data-sheet figures: 12 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 171, pour point -36 °C, flash point 230 °C. The data sheet allows drain intervals of 20,000 to 40,000 km where the vehicle manufacturer permits them. Available in 1, 5, 20 and 208 litre packs.

Application

Cars with modern turbocharged direct-injection petrol and diesel engines and exhaust after-treatment, including Mercedes-Benz BlueTEC (Euro 6) and recent Opel and Vauxhall models.
