Description
Elf Renaultmatic D2 is a fluid for the automatic and hydrostatic gearboxes and the power steering of Renault cars and vans. Its friction properties are matched to clutch operation in Renault automatic gearboxes.
It meets the requirements of GM Dexron II-D without formal approval. Elf states that it must not be used in the automatic gearboxes or steering systems of other makes.
Its additives protect against wear, rust and foaming, and it is compatible with seals. Typical figures: 7.296 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 190, pour point -51 °C. Available in 1, 2 and 208 litre packs.
Application
Automatic and hydrostatic gearboxes and power steering of Renault cars and vans; the maker does not intend it for other makes' automatic gearboxes or steering systems.
