Description

Elf Sporti 5 15W-40 is a Sporti engine oil for passenger cars and light vans, mineral according to its maker. It is intended for year-round use in petrol and diesel engines, turbocharged or not, that do not call for current carmaker specifications.

The oil is rated API SL and API CF and carries no other classes or manufacturer approvals. It is compatible with catalytic converters, and its detergent-dispersant additives counter the formation of black sludge.

Typical data-sheet figures: kinematic viscosity 13.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 136, pour point -27 °C. Available in 1 and 5 litre packs.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines in cars and light vans, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, for year-round use where the manufacturer does not require current specifications.
