Description

Liqui Moly Formula Super 15W-40 is a mineral universal oil for mixed fleets with petrol and diesel engines, also designed for extended drain intervals and severe duty. The data sheet names the product Formula Super HD SAE 15W-40.

It carries ACEA A2/B3/E2 and API SJ/CF-4 and holds official approvals MIL-L-2104E and MIL-L-46152D. It meets the requirements of MB 228.1, MAN 271, MTU Oil Category 1, Volvo VDS, Allison C-4 and CAT TO-2 without official approval.

Typical figures: 14.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 140, HTHS at least 3.7 mPa·s, NOACK 9.2 %, base number 9 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1.1 %, pour point -33 °C. Available in 1, 4, 5, 20 and 205 litre packs.
