Description

Elf Sporti 9 C1 5W-30 is a synthetic ACEA C1 oil; this class sets the strictest limits on sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur among the ACEA fuel-economy categories. It is intended chiefly for Ford diesel engines with a particulate filter and is compatible with other exhaust after-treatment systems.

The oil meets the requirements of Ford WSS-M2C934-A and Ford WSS-M2C934-B without formal approval. It is intended only for engines where the vehicle manufacturer specifies ACEA C1.

Typical figures: 10.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 157, pour point -36 °C, flash point 232 °C. Available in 5 litre packs.

Application

Mainly Ford diesel engines with a particulate filter that call for WSS-M2C934-A or WSS-M2C934-B, and other engines where the vehicle manufacturer explicitly specifies ACEA C1.
