Description
Motul 4000 MOTION 15W-40 is a mineral engine oil from the 4000 range, intended for older petrol and diesel passenger cars, whether carburettor or fuel-injected and with or without a catalytic converter. It suits engines running on LPG and biofuels, and it can be mixed with other mineral and synthetic engine oils.
It is rated ACEA A3/B3 and API SN and carries an official MB 229.1 approval.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 135, pour point -42 °C, base number 9.8 mg KOH/g. Available in 1, 4 and 5 litre packs.
Application
Older petrol and diesel passenger cars, carburettor or fuel-injected, with or without a catalytic converter, where ACEA A3/B3 or API SN is sufficient.
