Description

Mobilube GX-A 80W is a gear oil from the Mobilube range for manual gearboxes and drive axles. It is used in cars, light and heavy trucks and commercial vehicles, and in construction, quarrying and farm machinery. Within the range, it is the grade intended for Mercedes-Benz manual gearboxes under sheet 235.1.

It holds official MB 235.14, ZF TE-ML 17A and DTFR 13B100 approvals. The manufacturer recommends it for API GL-4, Bosch TE-ML 08 and MAN 341 Type Z1 applications without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 10 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 104, pour point -30 °C, flash point 216 °C. The oil is compatible with the seal materials normally found in vehicles.
