Description

Elf Tranself EP 80W is a monograde 80W gear oil from the Tranself line. It is intended for manual gearboxes, moderately loaded axles and some power-steering systems in cars, trucks, and agricultural and construction machinery.

It meets API GL-4 and holds official approvals MB 235.1 and ZF TE-ML 17A. An extreme-pressure and anti-wear additive package protects the gearing, while corrosion inhibitors keep steel and copper-alloy parts free of rust.

Typical figures: viscosity 17.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 96, pour point -24 °C. Packs from 1 to 208 litres.

Application

Manual gearboxes, moderately loaded axles and some power-steering systems in cars, trucks, and agricultural and construction machinery.
