Description

Motul 8100 ECO-LITE 0W-30 is a fully synthetic, fuel-saving engine oil from the 8100 line. It is intended solely for petrol engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with direct or port fuel injection.

The oil is rated API SQ RC and ILSAC GF-7A. The data sheet lists no official approvals; the maker states that it meets the requirements of GM 4718M, GM 6094M, Ford WSS-M2C953-A1, Ford WSS-M2C953-B1 and Ford WSS-M2C963-A1.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 10.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 174, a friction-reducing HTHS viscosity of 3.1 mPa·s, pour point -45 °C, sulphated ash 0.72 %. Available in 1 to 60 litres.

Application

Modern petrol engines, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, with direct or port injection, that need a 30-grade API/ILSAC oil, including GM, Ford, Hyundai-Kia, Honda and Mazda engines.
