Description

Motul 8100 X-MAX 0W-30 is a full-SAPS, fully synthetic engine oil from the 8100 range. It is intended for high-performance petrol and diesel passenger car engines, and its 0W grade makes cold starts easier.

It is rated ACEA A3/B4 and API SL. Official approvals cover Volvo VCC 95200356, MB 229.5 and BMW Longlife-01; it meets the requirements of VW 502.00, VW 505.00, Renault RN0700 and Renault RN0710 without formal approval.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 12.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 186, HTHS viscosity 3.6 mPa·s, pour point -51 °C, sulphated ash 1.07 %. Available in 1, 5 and 208 litre packs.

Application

High-performance petrol and diesel passenger cars with no particulate-filter constraints that need ACEA A3/B4, typically Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
