Description
Motul CLASSIC SAE 50 is a mineral, low-detergent monograde oil from the Classic line. It is intended for the petrol and diesel engines of veteran, vintage and pre-war cars, and for gearboxes of the same period where SAE 50 is specified.
The data sheet lists no classifications or car-maker approvals. According to the data sheet, the low detergency suits the paper, felt and fabric seals found in such engines, and the oil is also designed for cars that spend long periods in storage.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 21.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 98, pour point -18 °C, flash point 281 °C. Available in 2 litres.
