Description
AGIP Novecento 50 is a single-grade SAE 50 engine oil from the Novecento line for the petrol and diesel engines of veteran vehicles from the first half of the twentieth century, including worn engines with large clearances. Its detergency is deliberately moderate, and it is compatible with the sealing materials of the period.
The oil is rated API SC; it holds no official carmaker approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 21 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 105, pour point -18 °C, flash point 260 °C and density 900 kg/m³.
