Description
Motul MULTI ATF is a red, fully synthetic, multi-purpose fluid for conventional stepped automatic transmissions in American, Asian and European cars. It also suits some power steering systems.
No official approvals are listed. On the maker's recommendation, the fluid meets the requirements of GM Dexron II-D, GM Dexron II-E, GM Dexron III-G, GM Dexron III-H, Ford MERCON, Ford MERCON V, ATF+4, Chrysler MS-9602, BMW LA 2634, Fiat 9.55550-AV2, Aisin Warner JWS 3309, Nissan Matic S, Jaguar Fluid 8432 and several other specifications without official approval. Check the gearbox requirement against this list first.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 7.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 185, flash point 218 °C. Available in 1 to 208 litres.
Application
Conventional stepped automatic transmissions in American, Asian and European cars, with or without torque converter clutch slip; not for CVTs or dual-clutch gearboxes.
