Description
Motul NGEN HYBRID 0W-8 is a synthetic engine oil from the NGEN HYBRID line whose ultra-low viscosity reduces fuel consumption. It is designed for the conditions a hybrid engine works in: fuel dilution, emulsion with water, frequent stops and starts, and low oil temperatures.
The oil meets the Japanese JASO GLV-1 specification; no car-maker approvals are listed.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 5.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 139, HTHS 1.8 mPa·s, pour point -51 °C, base number 7 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.75 %. Available in 1 and 4 litres.
Use it only where the manufacturer specifies 0W-8.
