Description
Motul 300V POWER 0W-8 is a fully synthetic, ester-based racing oil from the 300V line (Motul ESTER Core technology) for petrol and diesel engines in tuned road cars and competition cars. The 0W-8 grade is extremely thin: it is meant only for engines built for this viscosity, where the aim is minimal friction losses.
Motul claims no API or ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals, stating that the oil goes beyond current standards.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 5.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 155, HTHS 1.8 mPa·s, pour point -42 °C. Available in 2 litres.
