Description
Motul TRANS ATF VI is a fully synthetic, low-viscosity Dexron VI-level fluid for modern automatic gearboxes, transfer boxes and power steering and, the maker says, for older units needing a GM Dexron III-H or GM Dexron II-D level fluid.
With no official approvals, the fluid meets the requirements of GM Dexron VI, GM Dexron HP, Ford MERCON LV, Chrysler ATF+4, MB 236.14, MB 236.15, BMW M-1375.4, Toyota WS, Jaguar Fluid 8432, ZF Lifeguardfluid 8, Hyundai/Kia SP-IV, Nissan Matic S and others.
Typical figures: viscosity 6.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 152. Available in 1 to 208 litres.
The Honda ATF Z-1 and DW-1 claims do not apply to CVTs.
Application
Modern automatic gearboxes with or without a slipping lock-up clutch, transfer boxes and power steering in American, Asian and European cars.
