Description

Shell Rimula R4 L 15W-40 is a low-SAPS engine oil for low-emission diesel engines fitted with a particulate filter.

Classes: API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 Plus, CI-4, CH-4 and SN, ACEA E7, E9 and E11, JASO DH-2. Approvals: Allison TES 439, CAT ECF-2 and CAT ECF-3, Cummins CES 20081 and Cummins CES 20086, DDC DFS 93K218 and DDC DFS 93K222, Deutz DQC III-10 LA, DTFR 15C100, Ford WSS-M2C171-F1, Mack EO-O Premium Plus and Mack EOS-4.5, MAN M 3775, MTU Oil Category 2.1, Renault Trucks RLD-3, Volvo VDS-4.5. It meets CNH MAT 3521 and CNH MAT 3522 without a formal approval.

Typical figures: 15.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, base number 10 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 1 %.
