Description
Shell Spirax S4 CX 30 is a Spirax oil of viscosity grade SAE 30 for off-road machinery transmissions. It is intended for powershift transmissions, final drives, wet brakes and some hydraulic systems in heavy machinery from Caterpillar, Komatsu and other makers, as well as for Eaton, ZF, Dana and Rockwell transmissions.
The oil holds the approvals CAT TO-4, DANA-OHTM-TO-30 21K-0006, ZF TE-ML 03C and ZF TE-ML 07F. It meets the requirements of Allison C-4 without formal approval.
Typical figures: 10.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, 93.9 mm²/s at 40 °C, pour point -30 °C, flash point 205 °C, density 899 kg/m³.
Application
Powershift transmissions, final drives, wet brakes and some hydraulic systems in heavy machinery from Caterpillar, Komatsu and others, as well as Eaton, ZF, Dana and Rockwell transmissions.
