Description
Shell Spirax S4 CX 50 is a Spirax oil of viscosity grade SAE 50 for transmissions in heavy construction and mining machinery. It is intended for powershift transmissions, heavily loaded final drives and wet brakes.
The oil holds the CAT TO-4 approval. It meets the requirements of Allison C-4 without formal approval.
Typical figures: 19 mm²/s at 100 °C, 217.4 mm²/s at 40 °C, pour point -18 °C, flash point 205 °C, density 910 kg/m³.
Application
Powershift transmissions, heavily loaded final drives and wet brakes in heavy construction and mining machinery.
