Description

77 Lubricants Engine Oil VFE 5W-30 is a fully synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil with a lower HTHS viscosity (3 mPa·s). It is intended only for selected Euro 6 diesel engines in trucks and vans.

It is rated API FA-4 and SN, ACEA F01 and JASO DH-2, with official Volvo VDS-5, Mack EOS-5, Renault Trucks RLD-5 and DTFR 15C130 approvals. It meets Cummins CES 20087, DDC DFS 93K223 and Ford WSS-M2C214-B1 without formal approval.

Typical figures: viscosity 9.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 167, base number 9.8 mg KOH/g.

The maker stresses that suitability for a given engine must be confirmed in the owner's handbook or with its oil selection service.

Application

Only selected Euro 6 diesel engines in trucks and vans for which the equipment maker permits an oil with lower HTHS viscosity.
