Description

Eni i-Sigma ECO PLUS 5W-30 is a synthetic engine oil from the i-Sigma top MS line for heavy-duty diesels, designed to save fuel.

The oil is rated API FA-4 and SN Plus, ACEA F01 and JASO DH-2. It holds official approvals from Mack EOS-5, Renault Trucks RLD-5 and Volvo VDS-5, and meets the requirements of Cummins CES 20087, DDC DFS 93K223, DTFR 15C130 and Ford WSS-M2C214-B1 without formal approval.

Kinematic viscosity 9.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 153, base number 10.4 mg KOH/g, pour point -45 °C.

Its HTHS viscosity is held within 2.9-3.2 mPa·s, so the oil is not backward compatible with earlier API categories and goes only into engines whose maker permits FA-4.

Application

Heavy-duty diesel engines whose maker accepts API FA-4 oils, chosen for fuel economy. Before use, it should be confirmed that the engine maker permits FA-4.
