Description

Aral SuperTurboral LA-FE 5W-30 is a low-SAPS, fuel-economy engine oil from the Turboral line, built on a hydrocracked base. It is designed for the latest generation of truck diesels with exhaust after-treatment and for extended drain intervals.

The oil is classified API FA-4, the low-HTHS-viscosity category aimed at saving fuel, and holds official approvals from Cummins CES 20087, DDC DFS 93K223, DTFR 15C130, Mack EOS-5, Renault Trucks RLD-5 and Volvo VDS-5.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 9.65 mm²/s at 100 °C and 58 mm²/s at 40 °C, viscosity index 152, pour point -42 °C, base number 9.8 mg KOH/g, sulphated ash 0.9 % and phosphorus content 0.075 %. Available in 208 litre drums.
