Description

Eni i-Sigma universal 15W-40 is a multigrade engine oil from the i-Sigma universal line for mixed fleets. It is intended for diesels in lorries, buses, construction machinery, vans and cars in severe service, as well as for petrol engines.

The oil is rated ACEA E2 and API CG-4 and SL. The list contains no official approvals: the maker states that it meets the requirements of MAN 271, MB 228.1 and MB 229.1.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 140, base number 9.1 mg KOH/g, pour point -27 °C, flash point 220 °C.

Application

Diesel engines in lorries, buses, construction machinery, vans and cars in severe service; also suitable for petrol engines, so it fits mixed fleets.
