Description

Eni i-Sint MS 5W-40 is a synthetic engine oil from the i-Sint line with reduced sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (Mid SAPS) for modern petrol, diesel and gas-fuelled engines in cars and light vans. This formulation protects the catalytic converter and the particulate filter.

The oil is rated ACEA C3 and API SN Plus and holds official approvals BMW Longlife-04, MB 229.51 and MB 229.52. The maker states that it meets the requirements of MB 229.31.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 13.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 177, pour point -39 °C, base number 7 mg KOH/g.
