LA (low ash) automotive oils for engines of passenger cars and minibuses fitted with particulate filters. In particular, recommended for the W211 E200 CDI and E220 CDI. Minimum sulphated ash content (up to 0.8%). The approval was introduced in July 2003. It later formed the basis, in 2004, for the ACEA C3 class.
