Description
AGIP Novecento 90 is a single-grade SAE 90 gear oil from the Novecento line for the gearboxes and transaxles of classic cars without hypoid gears. Its anti-wear additive does not corrode the metals commonly found in transmissions.
The oil is rated API GL-3; it holds no official carmaker approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 16 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 100, pour point -30 °C, flash point 250 °C, density 895 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 130,000 mPa·s at -26 °C.
Application
Gearboxes and transaxles without hypoid gears in classic cars, where API GL-3 is recommended.
