Description
Eni Rotra FE 75W-90 is a synthetic oil for manual transaxles, where the gearbox and final drive share one housing, in front-wheel-drive Audi and Volkswagen cars. Its very low viscosity in the cold makes gear changes easier after a cold start.
The oil is rated API GL-4. According to its maker, it meets the requirements of VW 501.50 (factory designation G 50), without formal Volkswagen approval.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 92 mm²/s at 40 °C and 15.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 180, pour point -48 °C, flash point 190 °C, density 870 kg/m³ and low-temperature viscosity 115,000 mPa·s at -40 °C.
