Description
Motul MOTYLGEAR 75W-90 is a synthetic gear oil based on Technosynthese with extreme-pressure additives. It is intended for manual gearboxes, transaxles, transfer cases and hypoid axles; according to the maker, it also suits gearboxes with a stiff or noisy shift.
The oil is rated API GL-4 and API GL-5 and meets the MIL-L-2105D specification; the data sheet lists no car-maker approvals.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 18.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 176, pour point -51 °C, flash point 199 °C. Available in 1 to 208 litres.
It is not intended for axles with a limited-slip differential.
Application
Manual gearboxes, transaxles, transfer cases and hypoid axles without a limited-slip differential that need an API GL-4 or GL-5 75W-90 oil.
