Description
Aral Getriebeoel HYP SYNTH 75W-90 is a synthetic-based, all-season gear oil with friction-reducing properties. It is intended for heavily loaded hypoid axles as well as for manual gearboxes and final drives in passenger cars, motorcycles, trucks, construction and agricultural machinery.
It is classified API GL-4 and GL-5; the documents list no official vehicle-manufacturer approvals, so its use is governed by the equipment manufacturer's specifications.
Typical figures from the safety data sheet: kinematic viscosity 14.8 mm²/s at 100 °C and 108.1 mm²/s at 40 °C, pour point -45 °C, flash point above 180 °C. Available in 20, 60 and 208 litre packs.
Application
Heavily loaded hypoid axles, manual gearboxes and final drives in passenger cars, motorcycles, trucks, construction and agricultural machinery, as specified by the equipment manufacturer.
