Description

Castrol TRANSMAX CVT is a fully synthetic fluid for passenger-car CVTs, chiefly in Japanese and Korean models.

No official approvals are given; Castrol states that it meets Toyota CVT Fluid TC and FE, Nissan NS-1, NS-2, NS-3, Honda HCF-2, Subaru i-CVT Fluid, i-CVT FG, Lineartronic II, Lineartronic High Torque Chain CVTF, Hyundai/Kia SP-CVT 1, SP-III, MMC CVT Fluid J1, J4, J4+, MMC DIAQUEEN ATF SP-III, Suzuki CVT Fluid Green 1, Green 2, 3320, Suzuki CVTF TC, NS-2, Daihatsu AMMIX CVT Fluid DC, CVT Fluid DFE, Mazda CVTF 3320, GM DEX-CVT, Ford CVT23, Chrysler CVTF+4, NS-2, BMW EZL 799, MB 236.20, VW TL 52180, TL 52516.

It is not intended for Honda Fit/Jazz CVTs with a starting clutch.

Application

Belt- and chain-type continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) in most passenger cars, chiefly Japanese and Korean makes; not for Honda Fit/Jazz CVTs with a starting clutch.
