Description

Elf Evolution 900 USX 5W-30 is a synthetic engine oil for modern petrol engines, including small-capacity direct-injection turbo units. It is aimed mainly at GM and Ford models.

The oil is rated API SP, API SQ, ILSAC GF-6A and ILSAC GF-7A and holds official GM dexos1 Gen 3 and Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 approvals. It meets the requirements of Opel OV0401547-G30 and Chrysler MS-6395 without official approval.

Typical data-sheet figures: 10.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 184, pour point -45 °C. Available in 5 and 208 litre packs.

The formulation is designed to guard against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI). It is for petrol engines only.

Application

Modern petrol engines, including small-capacity direct-injection turbo units, chiefly in GM and Ford models.
