Description

Elf HTX Collection 20W-50 is a multigrade oil from the HTX range for restored collector cars from around the middle of the 20th century and for youngtimers, both naturally aspirated and turbocharged.

The oil is rated API SL and CF; the data sheet gives no carmaker approvals. Its modern additives are compatible with the engine design of that period.

It protects cars that stand unused for long spells against rust and corrosion, and its multigrade viscosity limits wear when the engine is started after storage. Typical figures: 18.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 124, pour point -27 °C. Available in 5 litre packs.

Application

Restored collector cars built from around the middle of the 20th century, and youngtimers, with or without turbocharging.
