Description

Elf Sporti 9 R 5W-30 is a passenger-car engine oil from the Sporti line, synthetic according to its maker. Its low-ash (Low SAPS) formulation is designed to protect exhaust after-treatment systems, and it is intended mainly for current Renault and Dacia engines.

The oil meets ACEA C2 and ACEA C3. The manufacturer lists Renault RN17 and MB 226.52 as specifications whose requirements it meets; it holds no official approval under either.

Typical data-sheet figures: kinematic viscosity 12.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 163, flash point 232 °C, base number 9.7 mg KOH/g. Available in 1 and 5 litre packs.
