Description

Liqui Moly Diesel High Tech 5W-40 is a mid-SAPS engine oil for passenger-car diesel engines. It is intended primarily for pump-nozzle (PD) engines and Euro 4 diesels with a particulate filter, including extended drain intervals.

It carries ACEA C3. The data sheet lists no official approvals; according to the manufacturer, it meets VW 500.00, VW 505.00, VW 505.01 and Ford WSS-M2C917-A.

Typical figures: viscosity 14.3 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 169, HTHS at least 3.5 mPa·s, NOACK 9.5 %, pour point -42 °C, sulphated ash no more than 0.8 %. These data-sheet figures match those of Top Tec 4100 5W-40. Pack sizes 1 and 5 litres.

Application

Passenger-car diesel engines, notably pump-nozzle (PD) units and Euro 4 diesels with a particulate filter, including extended drain intervals.
