Description

Mobil Delvac Modern 5W-20 Advanced Protection is a synthetic reduced-viscosity oil (HTHS 2.7 mPa·s) for modern MAN and Scania truck and bus engines fitted with a particulate filter.

The oil holds official MAN M 3977 approval and meets the requirements of Scania LDF-5 without formal approval.

Typical figures: 8.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, pour point -42 °C, sulphated ash 0.9 %.

It is not intended for engines whose maker specifies older or different oil specifications.

Application

Modern MAN and Scania truck and bus engines with a particulate filter where MAN M 3977 or Scania LDF-5 is specified.
