Description

Eni i-Sigma ECO PLUS 5W-20 is a synthetic engine oil from the i-Sigma top MS line for the latest generation of heavy-duty diesels with exhaust after-treatment. It is low in sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (low-SAPS), and its low 5W-20 viscosity is aimed at saving fuel and cutting CO2 emissions.

The list gives no API or ACEA classes and no official approvals: the maker states that the oil meets the requirements of MAN M 3977 and Scania LDF-5.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 8 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 147, base number 10.2 mg KOH/g, pour point -48 °C.

It is used only where the engine maker specifies a 5W-20 oil.
