Description

Mobil Delvac MX ESP 15W-40 is a low-ash, synthetic-technology oil in the Mobil Delvac MX range for heavy-duty diesels of several generations; it is used with biodiesel and in the petrol engines of mixed fleets.

According to the product description, the oil meets API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 Plus, CH-4, SN, SM and SL. The data sheet lists no official engine-maker approvals.

Sulphated ash 0.9 %, base number 9.8 mg KOH/g, 14.1 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 130, pour point -33 °C.

Application

Euro V/VI diesel engines with particulate filters, SCR, CRT, oxidation catalysts or EGR, and older naturally aspirated units, on the road, in construction, mining and farming; biodiesel-compatible and suitable for petrol engines in mixed fleets.
