Description

Motul 300V COMPETITION 5W-40 is a fully synthetic, ester-based racing oil from the 300V line (Motul ESTER Core technology) for petrol and diesel engines in tuned road cars and competition cars. Within the COMPETITION series, the 5W-40 grade is the all-round choice that suits most tuned engines.

Motul claims no API or ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals, stating that the oil goes beyond current standards. According to Motul, it is compatible with fuels up to E85 and with particulate filters, and protects against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 13.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 176, HTHS 4 mPa·s, pour point -48 °C. Available in 2, 5, 20 and 60 litres.

Application

Petrol and diesel engines in tuned road cars and competition cars, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged, injected or carburetted.
