Description
Motul 300V LE MANS 20W-60 is a fully synthetic, ester-based racing oil from the 300V line (Motul ESTER Core technology) for petrol and diesel engines in tuned road cars and competition cars. This is the heaviest grade in the line, intended for hot-running racing engines and historic racing engines that specify 20W-60.
Motul claims no API or ACEA categories and no car-maker approvals, stating that the oil goes beyond current standards. According to Motul, it is compatible with ethanol fuels and particulate filters.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 23.9 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 178, HTHS 6.1 mPa·s, pour point -39 °C. Available in 2 and 60 litres.
Application
Petrol and diesel engines in tuned road cars and competition cars, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged, injected or carburetted, where a 20W-60 oil is specified.
