Motul 8100 ECO-CLEAN 5W-30

Description

Motul 8100 ECO-CLEAN 5W-30 is a fully synthetic, fuel-saving mid-SAPS engine oil from the 8100 range. It is intended for Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel engines and is compatible with particulate filters and catalytic converters; the maker also recommends it for Honda, Subaru and Toyota where ACEA C2 is permitted.

It is rated ACEA C2 and API SN. It holds no formal approvals: the maker states that it meets the requirements of PSA B71 2290 and Fiat 9.55535-S1.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 10.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 164, HTHS viscosity 3.1 mPa·s, pour point -36 °C, sulphated ash 0.80 %. Available in a 1 litre pack.

Application

Euro 4-6 petrol and diesel engines that need a low-HTHS ACEA C2 oil, including PSA/Stellantis, Fiat and Japanese makes.
