Description

Motul 8100 ECO-LITE 5W-30 is a fully synthetic fuel-saving engine oil from the 8100 range. It is intended for modern petrol engines and protects turbocharged direct-injection units against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI).

The oil is rated API SQ RC and ILSAC GF-7A. It holds no formal approvals: the maker states that it meets the requirements of GM dexos1 Gen 3, GM 4718M, GM 6094M, Ford WSS-M2C929-A, Ford WSS-M2C946-A, Ford WSS-M2C946-B1, Ford WSS-M2C961-A1, Chrysler MS-6395, Fiat 9.55535-CR1 and VWC 53034.

Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 11.4 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 166, HTHS viscosity 3.3 mPa·s, pour point -39 °C. Pack sizes from 1 to 208 litres.

It is for petrol engines only.
