Description

Motul NGEN MATIC ATF VI is a synthetic, low-viscosity fluid from the NGEN line, made partly from re-refined base oils. It serves modern automatic gearboxes, transfer boxes and power steering and, the maker says, older units needing a GM Dexron III-H or GM Dexron II-D level fluid.

With no official approvals, the fluid meets the requirements of GM Dexron VI, GM Dexron HP, Ford MERCON LV, Chrysler ATF+4, BMW ATF 6, Hyundai/Kia SP-IV, Nissan Matic S, Honda ATF DW-1, Honda ATF Z-1 and others.

Typical figures: viscosity 6.2 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 153. Available in 1 to 60 litres.

The Honda ATF Z-1 and DW-1 claims do not extend to CVTs.

Application

Modern automatic gearboxes with or without a slipping lock-up clutch, transfer boxes and power steering in American, Asian and European cars specified for a Dexron VI-level fluid.
