Description
Motul SAE 15W-40 is a mineral engine oil for older-generation petrol and diesel engines, with or without a catalytic converter, running on standard fuels or on LPG. It contains a detergent and dispersant additive package.
It meets API SF and CD. According to Motul, it can be mixed with other mineral and synthetic oils.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 14.5 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 135, pour point -27 °C, flash point 224 °C, base number 10.2 mg KOH/g. Available in 5 and 208 litres.
Application
Older-generation petrol and diesel engines, with or without a catalytic converter, running on standard fuels or on LPG.
