Description
Motul 2000 MULTIGRADE 20W-50 is a mineral engine oil from the 2000 line for petrol and diesel car engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged. Motul aims it at classic and older cars and at petrol engines that tend to burn oil: the heavy 20W-50 grade keeps a thicker film in a hot engine.
The oil is rated ACEA A2/B2 and API SL/CF; the data sheet lists no car-maker approvals. According to Motul, it can be mixed with other mineral and synthetic oils.
Typical figures: kinematic viscosity 17.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index 123, pour point -24 °C, base number 7.3 mg KOH/g. Available in 4 litres.
